Editorial and Review Policy

How to read AskRajiv guidance

AskRajiv provides general education about Ontario mortgages and real estate. An article is not an approval, lender commitment, legal opinion or tax recommendation.

Sources and dates

Article evidence records identify available source links, source-check dates, effective dates and review information. A source-check date records a check at that time; it does not promise continuous monitoring. Check the original source when an important decision depends on a current rule.

Rules and lender policies

Government rules, insurer requirements and individual lender policies are different. Guidance should identify which layer applies and explain important exceptions. Proposed changes should be distinguished from measures already in force.

Review status

Look for the named reviewer and review date on each article. Where a review is not recorded, the article should say so. A later content update does not automatically mean the reviewer has signed off again.

Examples and professional help

Examples explain a calculation or decision and are not client approvals or guaranteed outcomes. Mortgage, legal, tax, insurance and investment questions may need separate qualified professionals.
